Edgar Barboza, born January 4, 1987 to Jesus and María Elena. Hermano de Sandra, Alejandro, y Alberto. Tío de Nayeli, Jesus, Jazmin, Brianna, Belinda, Romeo, Xavier, y Melody. Padrino de Everly Rose. We hold his life here on Earth in deepest gratitude. His smile is etched in our collective memory. This world was witness to his brilliance and beautiful brown skin. Native of this continent. He belongs to the cosmos now and is the astronomer he desired to be. Travel light. Travel far. May his spirit empower us with ancestral wisdom. Loyalty forever.
Edgar suffered a terrible accident two weeks ago. He fought valiantly to stay with us. On Sunday August 4th, 2019, his spirit elevated.
Edgar was a registered organ donor. On Friday, August 10th, we were informed his organs have saved/extended the lives of five people. His HEART still beats on EARTH.

We are asking for funds to support Edgar's family during this time. While we all mourn the loss of a brilliant, gentle, beautiful and rare being, his family should not have to bear the weight of the expenses associated with this tragedy. We are here to support them as he would, to honor his spirit, and to ease this transition as much as possible. Please consider donating to help his family in an immediate way.
> The Cemetery cost is $8000.
It covers property, excavation, casket, headstone, flower vases, and all other aspects of burial.
> The Mortuary, Funeral Home, and Church cost is $8000.
It includes all arrangements, services, viewings, coffin, escorts, certificates, permits, etc.
> We would like to raise an additional $8K for medical bills and anything else needed during this transition. Anything remaining after the cost of services or over the initial goal will go towards a scholarship in Edgar's name for young people in the arts.
