Hello, Family and Friends:
A lifelong dream of becoming a Barber Stylist was put on hold due to serving my country in the United States Army for over 22 years. For those of you who have had the privilege of experiencing my passion for cutting hair knows my talent. For those of you who have sat and listened to my story and my dreams for success knows my drive.
I have been in attendance with OGs School of Hair Design for the past three months, but with education and licensure comes cost. Unfortunately, The Department of Veteran Affairs (Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment) has found a loop hole in not paying for my schooling and removed me from the program after attending for three months.
I am amazed by the complexity of the barbering industry to further increase my interest in becoming licensed. Barbers are one of the helping professions. They improve people’s lives by giving them self-confidence. People who are confident move through the world in a more positive way. They take hold of new opportunities with zeal.
I have set up this GoFundMe to help pay for my schooling, with a projected graduation date of April, 2021. Your donation will help cover tuition, a barber tool kit, uniforms, student permit and pictures. Any amount donated is one step closer to my dream of owning my own barber shop and giving back to my community.
