Update... As of 6/4, Mindy has been cleared to go back to work this is definitely a time to celebrate but also I time for adjustment. She's blessed to be able to work for a great company who will let her come back at her own pace. I'm reaching out again to lift some of the burden of finding her new normal. We want this transition to be as worry and stress free as possible. Thank you again to EVERYONE who has supported her along this journey.

Update: We are sharing Mindy's story again as it has changed from the original.

The radiation and chemotherapy did have a great impact on the size of the tumor, but unfortunately, 3 separate doctors she is seeing have recommended surgery to remove the colon.

This will be a life changing surgery, but she will come out on the other side stronger than ever.

With this, she will be in the hospital for atleast 5 days and be out of work for weeks while she recovers. The money raised will be used for her personal bills/medical bills and anything else she might need during this time.

Again, Thank you to everyone who has supported her during this difficult transition. She knows she is loved beyond measure.

Hi Friends.

We all know cancer can be devastating. But before I get into that, let me tell you about my friend. She is strong, fierce, and loving. She is selfless, she's a Spartan, a weightlifter. She is EVERYONE'S hype girl. Her name is Mindy Morrow and is one of my best friends.

Unfortunately, Mindy was experiencing horrible stomach issues, so she went to the doctor to see what was going on.

It was definitely not the news anyone was expecting... Stage 3 Colon Cancer.

Mindy has had her port inserted, is receiving chemotherapy, all while working full-time as one of the best daycare teachers you could ask for.

She goes to work not feeling well, but she does it because she loves those babies. You ask her how she's feeling, she smiles and says she's not feeling the best, but she will be alright, God has got her.

That's the biggest thing I admire about Mindy. She has kept the best attitude toward life, even during one of the hardest seasons. She has always been that way. Brings positivity and love to any situation no matter what.

What I'm asking for today is to give her some of that love back. The bills are coming, she's still working but let's help take a load off of an already unimaginable situation.
