Help keep Barbara feeling fab!

Hi friends,
As most of you know, Barbara is busy kicking the crap out of cancer. It’s hard work, and she’s done it without complaint - but we all know Barbara, and she does love those blonde locks of hers.

Being the industrious woman she is, she found something called Cold Capping that allows many women to keep most of their hair throughout chemo. She has had several treatments, and it’s working so far, but we want to help keep it going as long as possible.

Many of us went to a training session at her house to learn how to do it for her, and several of us even went to a session with the professional capper. It’s fairly complicated, and needs to be done just right.

Barbara will be going through two different kinds of chemo, with the first kind being much harder on the hair than the second. The odds of her keeping her hair (and with it a much needed sense of normalcy and self) increase once phase 1 is done.
We’d like to help her keep the professional capper throughout phase 1 so that she has the best chance of a good outcome. The goal of $3,000 will allow her to keep the pro - we can take it from there.

Dig deep, friends - this woman has held our hands (or hair!), made us laugh, cooked us dinner, hosted our holiday party, and serenaded us every other Wednesday for years. She deserves to feel and look as fabulous on the outside as we know she is on the inside.
