Barbara's Transition Fund

In a very short period of time, my life has been turned upside down. On the 20th of January, the love of my life, my husband of over 60 years, passed away. While trying to piece together the paperwork of our lives together, I have discovered that I will be losing two-thirds of my annual income, and will no longer be able to afford to live in the home we have shared for the last 30 years. This has been a heartbreaking discovery.

At this time, I am hoping to buy a little more time in our home, while I determine the next steps of my life. I am hoping to raise $5000 so I can pay my mortgage for 3 more months. This will allow me to plan Ronnie’s funeral, close his accounts, and come to terms with this unimaginable loss while I pack our belongings.
