The family of Mrs. Barbara A. Werts would like to establish a memorial education scholarship in her honor. Mrs. Barbara was a loving wife and wonderful mother who transitioned this walk of life on July 24, 2019. She was an educator at Lomax-Pinevale Elementary school for over 30 years where she loved teaching and encouraging her students to achieve their dreams and aspirations. Thus, to fulfill her dreams of cultivating success among young people, the family would like to sponsor a scholarship for at least two deserving graduating seniors in her honor from the class of 2020 to help assist with their educational journeys.
