Hi im a neighbour in New Orleans Barbara Lazzini sadly died after being involved in a fatal collision in Hornsey Rise in November. She is remembered as a "kind, generous, and loving woman", but times are tough and her partner is in desperate need of £1200 to cover the costs of the funeral. Barbara lived on New Orleans Estate and was well-known to neighbours in the area. She met her partner more than two decades ago in a hostel, after arriving in the UK from her hometown of Marina di Massa in Tuscany, Italy.

She worked in hospitality, childcare, dog-walking, and cleaning, but later struggled with her mental health and faced challenges accessing help due to the language barrier. A cremation is due to take place at East Finchley crematorium at 10:15am on February 5, with a memorial service scheduled afterwards, at 2pm, at St Mary's Church in Ashley Road.
