Barbara Householder Funeral

The world has lost a beautiful soul this week. Barbara Householder graduated peacefully from her earthly experience in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.  If you knew Barbara, you loved her.  Everyone she met got a big smile and a hug.  Even as her health began to decline, she was still eager to hear how your life was going.

Barbara embraced motherhood and raised her family in love.  She also became a second mom to many who were downtrodden or in a dark place.  Barbara loved everyone and all were welcome in her home. It was common for her to invite struggling young adults to live with her family.  She gave them love, a listening ear, good food, and a sense of family belonging until they found their way.

When we think of heaven on earth, we will remember her homemade bread, welcoming hug, and loving smile.

After a long and courageous health battle, Barbara is at peace. She leaves behind those who will treasure her invaluable words, wisdom and love.  There are also mounting medical bills from her extended illness and funeral costs. 

This has been a crazy year for all of us, but people have been asking how they can help.  So we set up this account as a way to help out the Householder family during this difficult time.  I know any amount would be greatly appreciated and that they cherish the love and support they have received from friends and family.
