Barbara Heron is a former massage therapist, Company Secretary, Chair of Trustees and volunteer at the Creative Living Centre (CLC)

She helped ensure the CLC was put on a stable footing to grow and develop to deliver the amazing service it provides today.

Barbara passed away in December 2024. The CLC was the chosen charity at her funeral and nearly £1,000 was raised.

The CLC has initiated an annual Award to be given one of its volunteers in her name. The first award will be given on 20th March 2026, the date she would have reached 80.

Nominations are now being considered.

Her family is setting up this fundraiser to enhance the resources for the award for this and future years.
