Anyone who has ever met or been taught by Professor Barbara Górzyńska knows of her unconditional love. She has changed the lives of hundreds of students over decades of devoted teaching, becoming a beloved “Vienna mother” to many of us. Through her love and wisdom, Barbara has helped us all become better musicians and people. She is remarkable, and now is time for us to give our love back to her.
On August 1, 2019, Barbara’s one and only son, Michal, age 37, suffered a brain aneurysm and two severe strokes, leaving him mentally and physically compromised. Conditions at the first hospital in Poland were so severely inadequate that any recovery was impossible. 

As a result, Michal is currently recovering at a private clinic, where costs are 250 Euros per day ($273), or 7,500 Euros ($8,212), per month. 

Through past donations and loans there is money for February 2020, but that is all. It is conceivable that Michal will need three years in a professional clinic. Anything that you can give right now will help.

Six months later, the progress is significant! Michal is now able to understand others but still unable to speak more than a few words. As can be seen, he walks courageously and with great determination! This progress will increase with continued support!
