Barbara Brown's Homegoing

My grandmother, Barbara Brown meant the world to me and her siblings, children, and grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the church, playing the organ, singing in the choir, and making delicious desserts to help fund raise for her church and the community. Grandma Barbara always had time to listen to us and offer words of wisdom, comfort, and support in times of need. Barbara raised five children, and worked as a teacher's aide and bus driver for the local school district. She was very talented and served as the musician for countless weddings and funerals during her lifetime. 

The past 20 years took a toll on her health as she struggled with the crippling affects of Chron's Disease. Never one to complain, she took each trip to the hospital in stride and eventually had to move into a care facility. While at the facility she would play the piano in the recreational room and fellow patients would shed tears as she played their favorite songs. She had many room mates during her years at the rest home, and always prayed with, and encouraged all who shared her room. 

Barbara was a very special woman, and deserves a home going service that will honor her life. We are reaching out because we need a financial blessing to cover funeral expenses. Funds are needed right away to make a deposit at the funeral home and cover the services.
We need a financial blessing from all whom loved Barbara and were affected in a positive way by her love and generosity. Anything helps so please don't be embarrassed if you can only donate $5 because anything helps. We need to have this taken care of  as soon as possible so please if you can please help us out. We thank you in advance for blessing our family in our time of need. 

Her youngest son James Brown will be in charge of making sure the funds go directly to her funeral arrangements.  Again, thank you and we love you!!! God bless you all.
