As many of you know, Barbara Barg, co-founder of Homer Erotic, author of Obeying The Chemicals and The Origin of THE Species, and hilarious, wonderful force to be reckoned with, passed on Tuesday, May 22 2018 from myeloma. Although she had been in pain and in and out of hospital for several months, the cancer was only diagnosed a week ago.  Her cousins Ellen and Arleen Floren have been her main caregivers, and took incredible care of her until the end. It's terribly expensive to be ill, and their finances, along with Barb's, are exhausted. It will cost money for Barb to be cremated, and they would like to hold a memorial service in Chicago, and pay off whatever bills were left unpaid. (There will also be a praise event in New York City in June for her NY friends). If you have any money you can donate to help with Barb's final expenses, it would be so appreciated.  Even a small amount will help. All money will go to her cousin Ellen, who is making the arrangements.
