Lets help out Barb (Unger) Karjala

I know everyone around knows Barb (Unger) Karjala.

She's the one who always helps and supports anyone and everyone in time of need. Family and friends are very important to Barb.

She's the one who has the biggest heart and always wears that infectious smile when you see her.

Over the past few years, Barb has gone through 2 artery bypass surgerys in her leg. Along with her diabetes, she ended up with the amputation of a toe.

Recently, Barb has been diagnosed Squamish Cell Carcinoma. Her tumor is located next to her carotid artery and is in 2 lymph nodes.

This unexpected diagnosis means Barb will start 7 weeks of radiation, 5 days a week.

She'll also have 7 weeks of chemotherapy, once a week, all in Hibbing.

She had her port put in this week.

Barb will start these treatments within 2 weeks.

Medical expenses and recovery is going to be overwhelming.

Let's all help her out to make sure she can rest without stressing about everyday expenses and everything she seems to think she has to get done.
