Hello, my name is Tracy and i'm starting a fund raiser for my mother Barbara Benner. She is going to be 81 years old next week and she had worked for the school district Lampeter-Strasburg for almost 30 years. Last September the township she worked for just left her go with no reason why or severance pay. She loved her job and did it well. She loved all the bus drivers and students she had over the years and made sure they were safe. Her job was dangerous due to all the traffic she had to move thru out her shift. Everyone knew who she was and always thanked her for the great job she did. She has no retirement plan and has fallen on hard times due to the loss of her job. She has applied for other jobs but no one is gonna hire a 81 year old women. All she receives is social security and that just pays the basics. Her fuel oil is outrageous along with electric prices due to the economy. I don't want to see her loose her house. That Is why I'm asking to find it in your heart to donate to a women who over the years has taken care of so many children safety along with other members of the community. If you can please donate.
