Aloha Everyone,
Kindly asking assistances in helping my best friend who is having an unexpected medical emergency and could possibly go into preterm labor.
My best friend, Abigail Ang, is currently at Kapiolani Medical Center in O'ahu at 31 weeks pregnant... WITH TWINS! She is under steroids to help stop contractions but she could potentially give birth to these two blessings at anytime. Doctors have advised her that she would not be able to go back home until she is at least 35-36 weeks pregnant.
May 22 would be the date that marked full term for the twins and for a planned induced labor. Abby and Lance had no idea that today she would be experiencing contractions this early in the pregnancy. After arriving at Maui Memorial Hospital, doctors decided to medivac her to O'ahu because having twins this early and on Maui would not be safe. She is hooked up to so many machines and wishing she could be home with her two babies: Maddox (3) and Harper (1).
Close friends and family have planned a baby shower for Abby on May 4th but we are not sure if that is still a confirmed plan due to unexpected circumstances. For those that have received invitations, we do apologize and hope to release a new date to celebrate with the twins and Abby when they have returned home.
Abigail and Lance could use all the help they can get to help keep their twin baby girls healthy and safe.
Message for Abby:
Just know that your family and friends are here for you and love you very much. We all wish that we could be there with you in the hospital during this hard time. Continue to stay strong for yourself, the twins, and your little family. We all cannot wait to meet your two additions to the family, those girls are so lucky to be having you as a mother. X2
