Baptiste Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training
Donation protected
Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, and I am raising money to attend Baptiste Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training. This training will transform me in the areas of my life that matter most, give me the opportunity to certify as a Baptiste Power Yoga Instructor, and allow me to discover my purpose and attain the tools to follow that purpose. I am currently a personal trainer, studying nutrition and my intention is to one day have a wellness center for our community. I hope to inspire people through yoga and bring this practice to you.
Throughout my personal journey, I have found refuge in body movement. In searching for ways to recreate myself, I ended up on a yoga mat. Aside from getting in better physical shape, yoga shaped my heart and mind. My mat became a safe haven to honor and let go of whatever emotions were holding me back from my full potential. In the past, I struggled to express and release my feelings, and yoga gave me the space to do so. Yoga continues to humble me specifically when I can’t get into a pose I may have gotten the day before. My practice has shown me that it is not about perfection, as I often sought, but rather about progress. Along my journey of transformation, I would be fearful to try anything because I thought I would fail. Yoga has taught me to take the leap anyway and get into the pose. If I fall out, just stay with it, and be in the discovery of it. Yoga helps me work through my trauma, which I now know is stored in my body's tissues. I've struggled with depression and anxiety, and through yoga, learned how to breathe through it. What I have discovered is that my mat is the mirror of my life, revealing where I may be stuck.
So why should you help?
What the world needs more than anything is the tools of yoga to navigate through these uncertain times. I hope to be the one to provide this gift back to you at the completion of my training. Help me to help bring, this practice, these tools for living, to YOU.
Give what you can as every little bit helps. Your donation is greatly appreciated. Once my goal is reached, anything over will be donated to NYC Yoga Project
Blessings to you and your family!
With Gratitude,
Ashley Iannacone
