"Baptism By Fire" The Stage Play

My name is Pam Gardner. I am the writer/director of the long running stage play. “King of Glory” which was presented annually in downtown Atlanta for over 20 years. In 1993, I picked up a book about the Azusa Street Revival of 1906. I was compelled to write about it and this went from being a passion to a mission.
“Baptism by Fire” is a story of the Azusa Street Revival. The Azusa Movement depicted a time when all races and cultures worshipped together, no racism, sexism or classism; a period of undeniable unity.
I am seeking your help because the Enemy is aggressively fighting my efforts to get this historic story retold. We have tried to raise funds to make a promotional preview but we were not able to raise the funds to accomplish this. Then we tried to proceed with the play in November without the promotional preview and again the funding was insufficient. In the middle of all this, we lost our director.
Our nation is in need of this message now more than ever. We need a revival like Azusa to heal this nation once again. I am determined to be obedient in getting this message out in spite of the spiritual warfare that has been launched against this project.
