Can anyone please help. There is a colony in Bankstown that I recently found. The colony consists of about 8 cats. 2 live in the bin area and the others are around but appear mostly at night. 3 need to go to a vet as soon as possible.
The Caretaker of the block that I see at least every second day that I go to feed has advised me that the owners of the building have told him to remove the cats or he will loose his job. They are starting work on the building next week and the cats need to go. He now removes all the feeding bowls threw away the water bowl and has told me to take the cats or he will dump them in a park. He keeps mentioning to me poison. I have met other residents of the block and I asked if they feed the cats. They told me sometimes they do but the Caretaker told them not to and that they will be poisoned. He told me on Thursday to take them but no more feeding here. The owners are going back early in the week for another inspection and pest control has been booked. 2 cats need to go urgently as they live in the bin area. 1 is having trouble breathing. I'am meeting a Rescue tonight and she will take the bonded pair but needs funds to start their vetting. Vet visit + antibiotics for 2 $220, bloods for 2 $200, vaccination for 2 $200 + desexing for 2 around $200. Can we please get together to raise money to help these poor innocent cats.
