URGENT: Help Me Save the Home My Grandparents Left Me, Foreclosure Date July 11th, 2025
My name is Ana Grace, and I never imagined I’d be here, publicly asking for help to save the only home I’ve ever known.
For over 60 years, this house has been more than a roof over my head. It’s where I was raised, where my father built our family’s legacy, and where my grandchildren now come to feel loved and safe. It’s the last tangible piece of my inheritance, yet I’m weeks away from losing it due to a heartbreaking series of systemic failures, mismanagement, and legal neglect.
️ How Did It Come to This?
Five years ago, after the death of my father, I began the long and confusing process of probate. I followed every step by the book, reaching out to commissioners, probate officers, and legislators. I paid out of pocket for both my bills and my father’s, trying to honor his legacy while I waited for the system to catch up.
But I was met with delay after delay.
I was told that my local court was backlogged on deed recordings as far back as 1993.
The attorney assigned to my probate case went completely missing during COVID, and when I finally reported her, she reappeared only to inform me that my case had been "reassigned" to her objection, without my knowledge.
I discovered the executor of the estate had been misusing estate funds, and when I tried to pursue the bond, I was told not to bother.
Meanwhile, the bank pressured me into transferring all my father's assets into my name and credit profile, even though probate was unresolved. I expressed my discomfort but was dismissed.
I tried everything, legal aid, local representatives, nonprofit support programs, but I kept hitting dead ends. I held out hope that doing the right thing would eventually pay off. Instead, I’m facing the foreclosure of not just one home, but two: the one my father left behind, and now the one my grandparents left me.
Why This Matters
This is more than losing property. This is about losing my stability, safety, and generational legacy, all while navigating a system that wasn’t designed to protect people like me.
I’m a senior citizen who has always worked hard, played by the rules, and done my best to honor my family. But the emotional toll of fighting this for years has left me drained. The financial burden has left me vulnerable.
⏳ What I Need
I need to raise $50,000 by July 11th, 2025 to:
● $35,000 – Reinstate the mortgage and STOP the foreclosure
● $15,000 – Hire legal counsel to pursue justice and protect what’s left of my inheritance
How You Can Help
If you’ve ever watched someone you love lose everything because of bureaucracy or injustice, please help.
If you believe that seniors deserve to age in peace, not fight for scraps, please share.
If you have ever had to be stronger than you thought possible, please donate.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to keeping my home. Even a share can bring this story to someone who can help.
From the depths of my heart, thank you.
