We, the Banger Challengers: Keith Stewart, Keith Pearson, Ken Sturdy and Peter McTague are raising money to aid the Disasters Emergency Committee.

We are each buying a cheap pre-1980 car after 1st April, doing 1,000 miles in 4 consecutive days, then selling them by 31st May. We have a points system for some competition, and there will be a winner! Friends will ably assist us in completing the mission, and we will publish a link to video diaries showing the various challenges we face.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) - which in major crises brings together 14 leading UK aid charities to raise money to help save lives and rebuild shattered communities - is appealing for funds for the relief work in the Ukrainian conflict.
