The founders of the Bandounga foundation for education and their family have helped the local catholic church create a new bilingual (English-French) school in the remote village of Bandounga, located in the west of Cameroon. They have donated four classrooms, two toilets, an office and have also supported the salary of two teachers for two years.
For the school year 2015/2016, 87 children attended the school and 120 children are expected this coming school year.
Our medium term goal is to have a fully bilingual primary school by 2018/2019 with 12 classrooms, 12 teachers, one headmaster, 6 toilets, one safe playground, one clean drinking water area, an administrative block, an American style library. We expect to add two additional classrooms in the next three years.
For teaching and administrative support we need CFAF 4,000,000 or USD 7,500.
100% of contributions will go to the Bafoussam diocese to continue providing quality bilingual education to these poor children.
Thank you for Your kind support :-)
