Bandmates Music Mentoring Program

Hi!

I’m Elsa Eastwood, and I’m the president and founder of Bandmates, a music club at Santa Monica High School. Our mission is to provide equal access to musical education and mentorship. Through our partnership with the Boys and Girls Club, our high school volunteers provide elementary school students with free instruments and music lessons. Following our orientation at the Club in August, the kids are excited to meet their mentors and start lessons this month. To make this possible, I am asking for your help. Donations to Bandmates will be used to purchase or rent instruments for the program. All donations will be matched through a grant from KidUnity, an organization dedicated to supporting youth leadership and service. Any amount would go a long way.
