Bandits training for adoption!

Hi, my name is Katie Quinn, a local Realtor in Ocean City MD. I've always donated directly to Humane Society, however after seeing the same few gorgeous faces on social media month after month & now year after year I wondered why? Focusing on the longest running resident I stopped by to spend some time with him & his handlers. Bandit is a gorgeous 4 y/o boy terrier mix & has been overlooked at the Humane Society for almost 2 years! As incredibly sweet as I found him to be, Bandit is deaf & a pretty anxious guy. His adorable mouth even quivers when he gets to meet new people. He loves to jump with excitement & bite his leash during walks so he comes across as a little naughty but he is truly just so excited to be getting out & about. He doesn’t have a bite history with humans and gets along with other dogs on a case by case basis. Basically he’s an energy guy when meeting new friends. He thrives with a lot of exercise & you can see the anxiety melting off of him. Bandit is worth the effort & looking for his HERO .. ❤️❤️

Dedicated volunteer Wayne Best & I have teamed up with Alana McGeehan, owner & head dog trainer at Wolf Moon Dogs which is an intense 4 week board & training program that will give Bandit the therapy, socialization, in home skills, confidence & obedience he needs to make an incredible new family member! Alana is experienced with training deaf dogs just like Bandit so we know this is the perfect fit.

 

The last thing we want to happen is to get him this training & he go right back to the shelter. So I am raising the funds to cover the $3,250 cost (plus Go Fund Me Fees) & the awesome crew at the Worcester County Humane Society will present the prepaid training certificate at time of adoption.

 

Let's get this guy the home he desperately craves & if this works the way we hope it does we'll move to help the next longest resident that would benefit from this campain!
