My cat Bandit was diagnosed with Stomatitis back in November 2025. It's a chronic and severely painful inflammation of the gums and mouth due to an immune response to plaque. The initial recommendation was surgery from a specialist in Guelph. Unfortunately, that was going to cost upwards of $10,000 which was completely unaffordable. We searched around to a couple different vets to get second opinions and other treatment options. Eventually, it was determined that due to the severity of her condition the best course of action was removing all her teeth in surgery still. Thankfully, Dr. Dave at the wonderful Stoneybrook Animal Hospital quoted me between $2000 and $4600 (plus tax) for this procedure, and they could do it in-house. Currently, it is scheduled for March 25th and will have to be paid with credit. Which is where this comes in!
I understand that the world is in shambles, the economy is in rough shape, and everyone has been struggling financially, but I am humbly asking that if you can spare any amount at all, please donate to help us pay off her surgery and the additional vet costs that we have incurred in the previous months looking for treatment alternatives. All money received will be going towards paying off the debt from these vet bills.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and even considering donating.
Sincerely,
Tesa and Tyler
