Bandit's Battle with FIP: Support Needed
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my kitten Bandit wasn’t feeling well, so I took him to our vet yesterday and our vet told us she believes he has FIP. This is a serious disease in cats and has to be treated quickly. My sweet bandit boy is only seven months old and he is very sick.
I am a college student working two jobs to survive monthly and unfortunately, I don’t have the money to pay for his diagnosis at the emergency vet or to pay for his monthly treatments. I have been blessed by a few people who have given me their knowledge about FIP and their experience with this disease, and they all have recommended pursuing treatment as their cat has survived FIP and is now happy and healthy.
Bandit is the sweetest little kitty, I’m sad to say I’ve gotten annoyed with how affectionate he is towards me and others. He’s not afraid of strangers, within 30 seconds of meeting you he’s on your lap giving you kisses. Bandit also has a brother, Bentley, who lives with us as well. They are two peas in a pod, and just the sweetest together.
I can’t give up on my sweet little boy so I’m asking for help. I have to act quickly as his days are numbered. Today I will be taking him to the ER to get his diagnosis, which is at least $1200. From there my sweet boy will have to start daily treatments, that lasts for months. This is a time and money commitment, but I will do anything to help him. I have to be transparent in the fact my boy may not make it, if this does happen to be the unfortunate case I will be donating any extra money to other FIP cats in need. I appreciate ANYTHING. Advice, a share, money, it’s all very appreciated. I’m open to anyone who has advice or anything to help my sweet boy. Thank you so much everyone ❤️
