Bandana's Surgery Fund
Donation protected
Hi y'all!
I've had my best pal Bandana by my side since the fall of 2018. If you've met her, you know she's a total sweetheart and loves attention and FOOD. Unfortunately, it was recently discovered that she has a very large tumor on her adrenal gland. If it isn't surgically removed, it will most likely result in internal bleeding and a much larger/more painful problem. Our vet recommended we seek help through Virginia Tech's Animal Cancer Care and Research Center and they have agreed to perform the surgical removal of the adrenal gland on January 30th or earlier if there's an opening. She has two adrenal glands, so if a success, she should be perfectly healthy post-operation. I've already spent about 3k on the initial appointments and I'm required to put down a 4.8k deposit before the day of the surgery. They estimate that it will cost anywhere between that 4.8k and 6.5k, depending on how long the surgery takes to perform/if there are complications.
Anything helps. We would be grateful even if we only received enough funding to pay for gas money to Blacksburg on the 30th! I owe it to this girl to keep her comfortable and healthy and will be doing that with whatever means I can. Thank you so much in advance.
