Happy Holidays everybody. When it rains, it pours. Our friend and brother Michael Blecker has had a run of bad luck and could use some help. A few months ago, Mike tore his bicep and required surgery. He was out of work for 8 weeks and while workman’s comp and sick time kept his head above water, it did so barely. That was rain. Now it’s pouring … 2 nights ago after returning home from PT for his bicep, he slipped on ice and broke his leg. This is also going to require surgery and will have him out for another 8 weeks. You might say that the pouring is from a hurricane.

I know that we all love Mike but during this time, I also want everybody to remember that Mike has always been the guy to give you the shirt from his back when you were in trouble. I have zero doubt that there hasn’t been a time in any of your lives where Mike wasnt there for you in some way or another. All of that having been said, and from across all services and departments, I implore everybody to band together and help Mike out. I know that it’s the Holiday season but I have complete faith that we can all make this happen. The holidays after all are for giving. Anything helps, so let’s help a brother out.
