Dear Lunada Bay Elementary Families,
As you may know, our beloved school health clerk, Deidre Banas, lost her husband unexpectedly, on October 20th, from complications following a routine cardiac surgery.
Deidre has not only been a wonderful caregiver to our children, but also to her own 4 children, two of which have had severe special needs and unfortunately one has since passed and the other continues to need a substantial amount of daily care.
Many families, both former and present, have asked how they can help the Banas family. We feel that the most beneficial way to help them is to contribute to a fund which their family can use for: medical expenses or any other services that will aid in this time of need. Even small contributions are strongly encouraged, every little bit counts!
