BAMSOC sleeps rough

The Sheffield Hallam University Business & Management Society are raising money and awareness for homelessness in the UK.

One in every 200 people in UK are homeless. It's devastating, dangerous and isolating.

We will be taking part in the "Cathedral Archer Project Sleep Out" to give us a small insight into what sleeping rough really is like. 

This is a great opportunity to raise valuable funds for the charity that works with the homeless and vulnerable in Sheffield.

In the UK, 4,134 people slept rough across England on any given night in 2016 with the numbers continuing to increase. Globally, 1.6 billion people live in "inadequate shelter".
