Bambino’s Back Sucks

Hey educators and supporters, I need your help. I work with an incredible teacher—one of the best FFA and science instructors I’ve ever met. She’s in her early 30s and has undergone eight back surgeries thus far. Despite all of this, she shows up for her students every single day, regardless of her immense pain; she values her students’ growth beyond her own comfort. In fact, the Thursday before winter break, she had a surgery to implant a spinal cord stimulator, yet, she was back to class on Friday morning to ensure her students were set up and comfortable going into break.

She’s a self-sufficient, hard-working woman who has never asked for help, but as her colleague, I know how much her medical bills are piling up—co-pays, uncovered expenses, and more surgeries down the road. She truly needs our help, and after years of me offering to do a fundraiser, she has finally consented.
