FULLY FUNDED - BAMBI - rescue, foster, adoption
Hello everybody!
I have started this fund raiser on behalf of TESA'S RESCUE, as one of the volunteers, to try my very best to raise the necessary money to cover all of the expenses that we have for Bambi.
Who is Bambi you might wonder!
Bambi is a Romanian stray cat, who was found by a kind hearted school girl, in the countryside, where she went on a little holiday to her grandparents. Unfortunately she was unable to take the cat home at the end due to restricted resources, but she didn't have the heart to leave her there either! So she did the next best thing - asked one of our volunteers to help. We don't really know much information about Bambi's background, but she is SO friendly, loving and amazing that she could have had an owner before. Unfortunately, she had no microchip, and after speaking with the people in the vicinity, it was concluded that nobody would miss her if she was gone. So she travelled back to Drobeta Turnu-Severin town, Mehedinti county, where we are basically based, went into a splendid foster home while waiting for a chance to a better life. It didn't take long for the gorgeous Bambi to find a foster home, so we rapidly transported her to the beautiful UK, in North Yorkshire where she spent quality time with her loving foster family - and their cats and dogs! Bambi was such a joy to foster that it didn't come as a surprise when VERY SOON Bambi received a wonderful adoption request - her new owners fell in love with her beauty and her mischievous personality, she fitted right in and made herself at home faster than the speed of light!
Bambi's adoption fee and paperwork have been sorted now - but we still have outstanding costs for the little one, and we'd be so grateful if you shared this fund raiser or donated a little towards her expenses!
£175 transport from Romania to UK in a van with 24 hours care and supervision + £30 2 nights stay in kennels (Babbington) until collection
£45 vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchip, passport
£30 FIV FELV test
£110 transport from kennels to foster home
£57 spay surgery
All of these expenses are reduced as much as possible and our vet is so kind that he allows us to work "on the book", so on debts, therefore he will gladly go ahead and do everything without the money upfront. However, we would love to cover everything as soon as we possibly can so that our mind is at peace knowing that our debts are ZERO. This will allow us to move and rescue the next animal in dire need!
