Bambi is more than a pet ~ she’s my lifeline

Hello lovely people, my name is Barbara, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping our beloved cat Bambi travel with us overseas to Europe.

My partner and I have made the difficult decision to leave Australia due to visa restrictions. As much as this move is full of uncertainty, one thing is absolutely certain: we cannot leave Bambi behind. She is more than just a pet, she’s our emotional support, our family, and our source of comfort during challenging times.

We adopted Bambi when she was 2 years old. She came from a traumatic background and was extremely timid and scared when we first met her. Over time, through patience, love, and trust, we helped Bambi slowly come out of her shell. She still gets scared easily, but she has grown into a deeply affectionate and gentle soul who relies on us completely for her emotional security and we rely on her, too.

Bambi is especially attached to both me and my partner, and the bond we share is something we can’t describe in words. She helps ground us during anxiety, homesickness, and stress especially for me.

We’ve researched everything necessary to bring Bambi with us from Australia to Europe and as you might imagine, the costs are significant. Flights, pet travel agents, vet checks, quarantine compliance, and paperwork all add up quickly. Every dollar raised will go directly toward getting Bambi safely and comfortably to her new home with us.

This move is necessary for our future, but it won’t feel right unless our little family stays together.
