Bambi emergency vet bills

Donation protected

my poor little bambino started to act weird
around April 29th. Falling over and I thought
she was just being silly. It soon turned into a larger issue.

After a few days and me noticing a change in
behaviour, she started to decrease and
drastically.

I took her to the vet  beginning of May and
they told me it was Neurological and couldn’t do anything for me at that time. without any answers and every day a new issue, my heart started to break watching your dog helpless looking at you for what’s

going on and I’m not able to do a thing. So I just kept an eye on her making her comfortable as much as possible.

Finally a few days later with her legs
continually falling out from underneath her, her balance being off, she ended up puking so I took her back to the vet

The vet they ran bloodwork, X-ray and gave
her fluids and ran some more tests.  they found out her liver was small and then she needed bile acid tests. Thinking we made headway on finding the issue was
her liver, she got those done and needed an
ultrasound. This just for these assessments so far has been $2000 I've already spent.

In the last few days at my vet clinic they’ve
told me I should just follow up with a
neurology appointment,

This was supposed to be for May 25th.

Sunday may 16, I come home. She’s not eating. Her eyes are dilated, she’s lethargic, I’m
convinced she’s dying.  Not going to the
washroom. I take her to emergency. Without
her proper blood work they said wait unless I want to spend $3000 then and there. So I take
her home since they don’t feel she’s a priority
and stable.

Monday the 17. I get a second opinion of us
trying to sort out what the actual issue is and Thinking it’s her liver, I spent $300  on
supplements, vitamins, food. Now things she
doesn’t even need.

Bambi isn’t moving on her own, she’s staring
blankly into a wall, she isn’t herself.

Tuesday May 18 I took her to emergency at
Canada west without any proper answers for my girl and thinking she’s dying because her
condition keeps getting worse. Now that
she’s admitted, they are running all the tests
to see what the issue is. to have her admitted, MRI and overnight stay and all her tests,
this is $5000 so far but hopefully we’ll get answers. She is currently staying overnight in the vet hospital as they monitor her and she might be on steroids for the rest of her life.

I will do anything for my animal and I know
asking for money during covid times is
absolutely horrible and I feel distraught, I feel
like my options are limited. I’ve exhausted all my savings, my mothers and I just want to
know my dog isn’t going to die and I didn’t do
enough for her and I feel super helpless
without still having any answers
