Bambi Boy’s Gastrotomy & Enterotomy

This is my 3 year old best friend, Bambi. Aka Bambino, Aka Fat Boy, Aka Handsome Man.

I have been denied by carecredit due to an already active plan for myself that has not been paid off yet, and I stressed all my other options. I have not found a pet insurance company that will cover any “pre-existing” conditions such as accidents and illnesses. So I am resorting to the charity of anyone willing to help.

Bambi ate up one of his favorite toys the other night. I noticed him throwing up a bunch and was immediately concerned because nothing was coming up besides bile. I brought him to the vet and when he got xrays, it showed fabric in his stomach, and other ‘foreign objects’ (plastic) in his intestines. The vet really wanted him to be able to pass this on his own, so in hopes for that, he was given an anti-nausea shot and sent home. I called off of work and stayed home with him all day, knowing I had to return for a check-up the next morning before having to go to work. He needs more xray’s and most likely another shot, but given he hasnt been able to use the bathroom— not even to pee, for over 24hrs, I believe there is no other option besides surgery.

I am absolutely willing to give back any way I can, even if it’s everyone’s full money donated in return. I work full time but only make so much every couple weeks. Anything is worth it for this little guy. I am grateful for every penny. I did not want to have to resort to this, but this is my baby and I wouldn’t have my life any other way without him. He is not just my emotional support cat, he is my other two cat’s emotional support cat as well. Anyone he meets, both animal or human, he is always welcoming and loving with. There really is no way to replace him, and I know everyone in this world has felt that way about someone or something.

I don’t expect anything from anyone, I am putting this here because even if I only raise $1, that’s $1 I do not have, and $1 towards saving my little man’s life.

Even for anyone who cannot donate because times are hard for all of us, and I completely understand that, if you wouldn’t mind sharing to see if anyone out there is looking to do a good deed. Even a “I hope he gets better” will suffice. I truly am grateful for anything.
