Hi everyone,
For those of you who don’t know, my niece Heather has been through a lot this past year. She was born with chronic kidney disease that didn't effect her severely until later in life.
In November 2017 she was diagnosed with ESRD (end stage renal disease) As you can imagine this was not an easy thing to take in. Heather waited things out, praying that things would get better. She then decided it would be best to go on dialysis in November 2018. This would consist of hospital visits three times a week, 4 hours a visit, all while working a full time job.
On August 12th, 2019, God granted her with a new lease on life! The call from the doctors is one we had all been praying for. Although it was tragic that one life ended, it saved Heather's life. They called her to come in that night to prepare for surgery the next morning at 6a.m.
Heather will not be able to receive pay for the sudden 6 - 8 week recovery period. This means no money coming in for food, bills, rent, and life expenses.
She has never been one to ask for help, she always worked hard for what she has & is the first to be there for her family and friends in times of need. We are reaching out in hopes of taking this burden off of her shoulders so she can focus on recovery.
No matter what amount, big or small, would be a great blessing. Please continue to pray that Heather has a smooth recovery and thank God that she has a new start on life.
