Bam's Fearless Fight
Donation protected
Growing up when we did you always saw or thought of a hero as being male. We saw movies where princes rescued princesses but there were no movies that I can recall where the girl is the hero. However, this was not the case for me, my hero has always been my big sister Bambi! Although Bambi is two years my senior we are twins, best friends, see the thing is Bam always has control of things and she knew it was a seriously tough world out here so she kept me in... Or so we say Bambi has a radiant soul that shines through for the world to see, she is kind, and smart, incredibly generous, very talented, and not to mention gorgeous! At the end of May this beautiful person I speak so highly of found a lump in her breast then in early June she was diagnosed with Stage II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Breast Cancer. That day has since changed our lives. My sister is now undergoing 20 weeks of very aggressive chemotherapy treatments following surgery, and radiation. Bambi is a mother. It's impossible to work while you're literally fighting for your life, unemployment has come to and end and she filed for temporary disability but it'll be 3-6 months before getting a determination let alone a payment. Remember the hero I told you about at the beginning of this story well that hero needs us to rescue her this time. If I could do it all myself I would but I can't and sisters don't let sisters fight alone so here I am asking any and everyone that can help to please help me to help my sister Bambi. Most of you that will read this already know my sister and know that she has a huge family at the bowling alley Continental Lanes. If you're unable to donate now and would still like to help in the near future the alley will be hosting a benefit for her in the fall. I understand that it is very trying times right now and I want to thank you all in advance. Please know that all donations will go directly to Bambi for her expenses.
