Hi my name is Heather. My son found an injured Siberian husky deep in Miami. He was walking on three legs. He had an open wound on his chest and another on the back of his right shoulder. We took him to our vet and at first I thought he was shot but then thought he may have been bitten by a bigger animal. After fully shaving him and seeing all the bruises and only two perfectly round holes one on his chest the other exiting his shoulder blade we realized he was shot. Luckily the bullet went straight through without hitting any bones. He’s on four different medication‘s. They flushed the wound  and placed him on anabiotic‘s, pain medication, sedation medication, deworming medication and flea and tick medication because he was covered in parasites. We will be fostering him until he is fully healed. This is a huge challenge for us because we have two large dogs. We have to feed him a special food so that he can get the proper protein and calories he needs to get to the weight he needs to be at. We are praying that the antibiotics clear up any infection because if not they will need to put a drain in.This is quickly becoming very expensive  Between the vet bills , food and anything else he may need. When I originally started this go fund me I was planning on having him trained and neutered before we found his forever home however we’ve decided against that. Once he’s healed my daughter will teach him basic commands and he will have all his shots up-to-date ready for adoption. He’s a very sweet boy and absolutely beautiful. Please share this to as many people as you can especially animal lovers. With everything being so expensive I understand that everybody is struggling at this time but every dollar counts and is very much appreciated.
