Help Baltimore BJJ Expand & Serve More of Our Community!
For the past two years, I’ve been working tirelessly to find a new home for Baltimore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. While we’ve loved our time at 412 Eastern Blvd, our community has outgrown the space, and it’s time to expand!
After multiple attempts to buy a building, we’ve secured a new location just a block away at 501 Eastern Blvd—tripling our size! Even better, thanks to the Essex Community Development Corporation, we were awarded a grant to cover essential renovations like heating, structural upgrades, and bringing the space up to code.
But here’s the challenge: The grant doesn’t cover everything we need to operate at full capacity. Our biggest need? Mats and training equipment. Without them, we can’t fully utilize this amazing new space.
Why This Matters
Baltimore BJJ is more than just a gym—it’s a place where people of all ages and backgrounds come to grow, build confidence, and find community. Essex has faced its share of challenges, and as someone born and raised here, I feel a deep responsibility to give back. With this expansion, we can serve more youth, families, and individuals who need a positive and supportive environment now more than ever.
This is also the home of Outsiders Wrestling Club which helps grow young athletes into national level competitors. The space will also feature a complete exclusive fitness gym for those not interested in getting on the mats.
How You Can Help
We’re asking for your support to help us open and operate successfully in our new space. Any amount—big or small—makes a difference. Your donation will go directly toward:
✅ New mats for safe training
✅ Essential equipment to support our growing community
✅ Creating a welcoming space where everyone can thrive
If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with friends, family, or businesses who may want to help is just as valuable!
Together, we can build something special for Baltimore BJJ and the Essex community. Thank you for your support—we can’t wait to welcome you into our new home!
