This fundraiser has been created after the recent passing of my grandpa. Before passing away he requested a go fund me was set up to raise money for both Beatson cancer and kidney research UK.

Beatson Cancer Charity is a Scottish charity that supports people affected by cancer through wellbeing services, research funding, specialist staff, and patient care.

Kidney Research UK is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to funding research into kidney disease, with the aim of improving prevention, treatment, and patient outcomes.

During his last two weeks he was being treated in Beatson cancer hospital. Throughout these two weeks the care and support which he and us as a family received was exceptional.

For the last 10 years my grandpa had kidney problems. He was fortunate to benefit from a kidney transplant in 2021, due to his daughter, my auntie donating a kidney. Money raised would allow a greater number of people to have this opportunity in the future.

All donations would be greatly appreciated and all money raised will be split evenly between the two charities.
