Balmoral to Tannadice Walk

Club Statement
As all Cove Rangers fans will be aware our club is presently defending its position to retain our position as a League One club. This was awarded when we were 13 points ahead of our nearest challenger in League Two when the season was cut short due to the COVID outbreak.
What the club are now being subjected too, through no fault of our own, is proving to be an extremely costly situation and one that we could have done without.
Could the club have pulled out of the arbitration process? Yes, but given what is at stake we feel that not to defend our position, against the Heart of Midlothian and Partick Thistle's petition, is simply not an option.
As a result of this, Cove Rangers, along with Dundee United and Raith Rovers, have reached out to fellow member clubs to support them in defending this action as it can potentially have severe consequences, not just for Cove Rangers, but for all member clubs.
Cove Rangers super fan Ian ‘Jetto’ Yule and former players Mark Perry and Roy McBain, who both also played for Dundee United, are making a marathon effort to help raise funds to support our battle to defend our position to be promoted to League One.
They have arranged to walk from Balmoral Stadium to Tannadice on Saturday 18th July 2020.
Ian, Mark and Roy will set out on Friday July 17 and aim to be at Tannadice by 8pm on the Saturday.
The trio plan to meet their fellow walkers from Dundee United and Raith Rovers at the stadium around 8pm and all three groups hope that they can raise a bumper sum to help meet some of the costs of our legal fight.
Many thanks for visiting this page and thank you in advance if you have been kind enough to sponsor Ian, Mark and Roy.
