Ballou Class of 1968 50th Reunion

1968 was a special year in our nation’s history and the Ballou High School Class of ‘68 wants to share its story of how far we have come in 50 years,... reflecting on how we made it over in an era of racism, classism, civil and social unrest,  the Viet Nam War, a War on Drugs and the most unforgettable moment of all — the assasubatuin of one who put his life on the line for our dreams — Rev. Dr, Martin Luther King - while we were in our classrooms on April 4th.  Who could focus on graduation on the day our dreamer died?  Who could ever have imagined what the future would involve?  Well we have come a long way in 50 years and have much to say, celebrate and be grateful for.  We are therefore seeking donations to help defray  the costs for a  reunion  that is affordable, historic, and beneficial to future Ballou Knights graduating classes.  We are making a documentary about “The Day our Dreamer Died” to share with the world.  All proceeds from all events, activities, and projects will be presented to Frank W. Ballou’s Official Scholarship Program at the close of our Reunion Schedule in Fall of 2018.
