Hello my name is Avinoam Silverman and I’m a ballet teacher and a former soloist with the National Ballet of Canada. I’m a graduate of the Teacher training program of Canada’s National ballet school and have been teaching ballet for over 10 years. I will be teaching online classes on Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. As a lot of us are pretty much home bound at this point in time this will be an opportunity to get the body going, de stress and have fun doing a barre and some center work together in the comfort of our homes : )
WHO WILL BENEFIT:
Anyone who enjoys ballet, beg to inter level and wants to let go and give there minds a well deserved break!
WHAT THE FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR:
Due to the pandemic the places I normally teach at are closed. As a self employed ballet teacher I’m not able to do my regular teaching work. Your support will help me supplement the income I would have received if I was teaching at my usual places. The funds will be used for basic necessities such as rent and living expenses.
WHAT THE SUPPORT WILL MEAN TO ME:
This is a very unusual situation. Normally we don’t give it much thought when we go to take a dance class with other people. As this new reality is affecting all of us it would mean a lot to me if we can move together as if we’re in the same room and feel that we can make it through this together! I understand these are tough times for us all so give what you can, I would be very grateful for your support. Suggested donation $5-$10 per class.
The Classes are given on a simple online platform, Zoom. Zoom is accessible from your phone, tablet or computer.
