Ballet to Kokoda for People Living with Multiple Sclerosis
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Rosie and I am a 12 year old dancer and actor. I am also the daughter of a Mum (Tink) who has Multiple Sclerosis and like thousands of others struggles every day with this horrible disease. However, with a never say die attitude Tink is going to go to Papua New Guinea to tackle about half of the hardest walks in the World - The Kokoda Track. This tracks also has massive historical significance to Australia and it will be an honour to walk where extremely brave Aussies gave the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the freedom we all enjoy today. Tink has been to Kokoda before, but she suffered a big MS set back last year when her Dad (my Pops) passed away and is no longer able to attempt the whole walk.
Despite being really young and it will mean stepping outside of my comfort zone I asked if I could come too and now we are both training really hard for this huge challenge. We want to do it to inspire others, and we want to do it to try and raise funds for MS Plus who provide invaluable services to people living with MS.
The funds will go to MSPlus and will help with the specialist training we need in order to be successful in our goals.
Any donations at all would be so much appreciated and it's all for such a good cause.
