5th Grade Lady Ballers to Nationals
Donation protected
It is with great pride that I am able to write this letter to let you know that on the weekend of May 14th, our 5th grade Springfield, MA, Lady Ballers played in the New England AAU Division 2 & 3 Basketball Championships and came out victorious with a 29-17 win over the Bay State Storm. With this win, our young ladies became the 2016 Gold Division Champions and have qualified for the AAU National Championships. The Championships will be held on Thursday, June 23rd – Tuesday, June 28th in Kenner, Louisiana.
This is a great honor for our young ladies to represent not only their team and city, but also the entire New England region. As their head coach, it is my obligation to make sure that our young ladies get the opportunity to play in this prestigious tournament. Due to our New England AAU Championships being held so late in the AAU calendar year, it doesn’t give us much time to raise the needed funds for our team to go to the national championships. I am on a very aggressive timeline to raise $8,000.00 - $10,000.00 for our program and that is why I am contacting you directly.
With our deadline being very close, I am asking with the hopes that you and your company will be willing to donate anything to help us reach our goal. All funds raised will go directly to our team to help pay for travel and hotel expenses. Our entire organization is very proud of our young ladies and we want nothing more than for them to experience this amazing opportunity. I want to thank you for even considering helping us out and we hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards,
Coach Keshawn Dodds
