Bali (the frenchie) needs your help

Hi there, My names is Gemma, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for help. My beloved frenchie, Bali, is in need of urgent medical attention. He pulled his back when jumping at the park, when he jumped he yelped in pain and two days later he couldn’t move his back legs. The vets have confirmed it’s a spinal issue (commonly known as IVDD). He has some feeling in his toes, still having bowel movements but is unable to urinate for himself which is worrying. They have said if he isn’t referred to a specialist vet for a potential operation to fix the issue then he will have to be euthanised. Bali is usually so energetic, full of character and a cheeky little chap. There’s no way I can live with myself if I didn’t do everything possible to help my little boy.

The medical procedure that Bali requires comes with a substantial financial burden. Despite our best efforts, without pet insurance the cost is beyond what we can manage on our own therefore we are humbly reaching out to friends, family, and compassionate animal lovers like you for support.

Potential costs include;

- MRI scan - £5000 - £5500 or CT scan - £2000 - £4000

- Surgery - £4000-£9000 (depending on the vets)

Your donation (no matter how big or small) will directly contribute to covering the costs of Bali’s medical procedure, post-operative care, medications, and follow-up appointments. Your kindness will not only alleviate Bali’s suffering but also provide us with the chance to continue creating cherished memories together (even if they include his vendetta against the hoover/mop & broom, his constant mischievous antics such as stealing items of clothing/towels or chewing on people toes and his obsession with tree branches). Bali is loved by so many, he really is a special little boy.

Any excess funds that aren’t needed to support Bali’s veterinary needs will be donated to an animal charity such as the PDSA/RSPCA etc.
