Hi, my name is Bella and in July I will be volunteering at The Bali Street Mums Project.

Bali Street Mums is a registered nonprofit organisation that provides desperately needed resources including shelter, clothing, education, basic health care and food to the impoverished women and children of Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.

This foundation aids mothers and their children who have been begging on the streets and gives them refuge at their safe house.

100% of the revenue goes back to mothers and their children, and the workshops are run by the families that have been helped — who profit from their newfound skills.

Bali Street Mums also educate the children, so they grow up with the means to break the cycle.

By saving families once, they’re empowered to sustain themselves for generations.
