Donation protected

In 2022, we moved to Bali for 18 months and as much as I was captivated by its beauty, I was also heartbroken by something I hadn’t expected: the overwhelming number of street dogs in need of care.
Every time I’m here, I do what I can. But the reality is, there’s always another dog needing food, medical help, or protection. A simple vet visit is just $30. To sterilise a dog? Around $50. Vaccinations? Incredibly affordable by Australian standards but still out of reach for many locals.
Next month, I turn 40. A few beautiful friends have asked me what I’d like as a gift. Truthfully, I want for nothing except to see more of these animals safe, healthy, and cared for.
So instead of presents, I’m asking for something that would truly warm my heart: a donation, however small, to support the local vet here in Uluwatu. They’re doing incredible work treating and rescuing dogs that otherwise wouldn’t get a second chance. Many of these pups are brought in by kind-hearted people who simply can’t afford to pay for their care.
If you can spare $5, $10 - anything at all, it will go directly toward treating street dogs and giving them a fighting chance. I know everyone is facing their own challenges, and the world feels heavy right now. But even the smallest acts of kindness ripple far.
Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday with purpose.
Let’s give these dogs the love and care they deserve.
