Baleigh's Road to Recovery
On the 21st of June, Baleigh was with some friends at the lake which lead to a misfortunate accident. She suffered from a traumatic fall of 20 feet into the shallow waters below . This lead to a concussion, fractured processes in her lower back, and a shattered head of the humorous that needed to be repaired. She swam back to shore, on the opposite side of the lake, to the paramedics before blacking out. Hospitalization has been longer than expected, unstable in the trauma unit as she still undergoes extensive testing, Unable to complete any of her physical therapy sessions without losing consciousness, recovery is expected to take longer than the initial 6/8 weeks. She is also under doctor's orders no driving for 6 months. Baleigh had just begun training at her new job as a pharmacy technician, and had set plans in the fall to continue her second year at Bloomsburg University. As a student combined with her inability to work, bills will stack up to large amounts quickly. We would greatly appreciate if you would consider donating, to make the healing process as easy and as comfortable as possible for Baleigh. Thank you.
