Hello everyone,

My name is Brittany Dawdy, and I am reaching out to you today on behalf of my wonderful mom, Joy Dawdy. For over 30 years, she has dedicated herself to teaching swimming in our backyard, helping countless children learn how to swim and even inspiring some to become instructors themselves. Her backyard swim program has been a cherished part of our community, bringing joy, safety, and valuable skills to many families.

However, in the past eight months, my mom has been heartbroken by the possibility of her beloved swim program being shut down due to a single noise complaint from a new neighbor. This complaint has led to the closure of her program, and she now faces substantial fees to try to reinstate it.

We are reaching out to our community in hopes that you might be willing to help support my mom during this challenging time. Your assistance could make a significant difference in covering the costs needed to set her swim program back up and allow her to continue doing what she loves and benefiting the community.
