ICU Costs After a Brutal Axe Attack - Seeking Support & help

Dear friends, family, and caring members of our community,

We are devastated to share that on April 15, 2025, our cousin Baldev Singh and his wife Baljinder Kaur were victims of a horrific and unprovoked attack by their neighbor and family.

They were attacked from behind with an axe in a senseless act of violence. Baldev suffered a massive head injury in the first blow, and in a second swing, he lost a toe. Since that tragic day, he has been in a coma and remains on a ventilator, fighting for his life in the hospital. His wife also sustained injuries and is deeply traumatized.

To make matters worse, the attackers are still at large. The police are actively investigating and working to bring them to justice, but so far they remain on the run. Our family is overwhelmed, frightened, and heartbroken — we are just trying to hold on to hope while doing all we can to support them in difficult times.

We are starting this GoFundMe to raise urgent funds to help with:

Ongoing ICU and hospital costs

Emergency surgeries and treatment

Rehabilitation and recovery support (if and when he regains consciousness)

Mental health care for his wife, who is dealing with severe trauma

Legal and security expenses

Daily living costs while they are both unable to work
